Nerdtron, a local group of DJ's, artists, musicians, dancers and more, recently threw an all day even known as Heartronic at the 72nd and Grover Comfort Inn & Suites. The event was followed by Nerdtron: Nerds Rock!, an 18+ dance party featuring 8-Bit, Dubstep, and several other dance and techno genres. The dance began at 9pm and raged through 1am, at which time room parties began on the 5th floor.
The parties included the Pokemon Drink Stadium, decorated with pictures of pokemon from the hit kid's show, and Punktron, which had black lights and a bubble bath jacuzzi.
The dance and parties went smoothly, leaving many satisfied attendees.
Nerdtron is currently in preparation for their next event, Mutant and Proud. It is an all-ages event in collaboration with Nuke-Con 2011, at the Mid-America Center September 30-October 2. In addition to the rave, Nerdtron will be hosting various programming events throughout the weekend.
Nerdtron is also set to host the raves at Anime Nebraskon, November 4-6.
